POINTS TO REMEMBER
- Always remember to use a jade roller after applying a face serum oil, or moisturizer. This is best to use the roller on slightly moist skin. Contrary to a lot of claims, jade rolling doesn’t actually help products to better penetrate the skin, but rolling on moist skin will be more comfortable.
- Before you reach for your roller, be sure to cleanse your skin. Then, prep the clean skin by applying a serum or oil, being sure not to rub it in completely so that the jade roller can glide across skin without pulling. This is a great treatment to do with a serum or as a final step with your facial oil.
- When washing the roller, use warm, soapy water, and a soft cloth. You can also soak the roller in a bowl of warm water, and soap for a few minutes to give it an extra deep clean & help wash away & stubborn product buildup or dirt. Just be sure to not use water over 176 degrees fahrenheit or 80 degrees Celsius.
